 Emma

Emma has been dancing with Nefertiri Arabic Dance Company since it's beginnings in 2007. Having Studied with Katie Holland she joined Jane in forming Nefertiri and performed for charity events and fundraising events.
As well as studying with Katie, Emma has also studied with Niina Martin, Heike Humphries and Suhaila Salimpour and has a love of both caberet and tribal styles of belly dance. Emma is inspired by dancers such as Rachel Brice and Ansuya Rathor and many more. Recently Emma studies a 2 day intensive training course with Suhaila Salimpour

Emma has worked closely with Jane on many performances and choreographies and has been running the Neferteens dance classes.

Emma is also a member of Nefertiri Gems and has worked with Jane on a special performance for the regeneration project grand opening of splash point in Worthing which has been commisioned by Worthing Arts Council.

In september 2011 Emma moved to southampton with her Partner Chris and planning to start her own Nefertiri Franchise and build her own program of classes

We wish Emma every success in all her dancing endevours. This is not a complete goodbye as Emma will be returning to run workshops with Nefertiri and will also be performing from time to time with Nefertiri
