Kadie

Since the age of 4 Kadie has loved to dance. studying severel genres of dance including Modern, cheerleading, tango, street dancing, freestyle, bollywood & ballet, and has performed around sussex with street dance teacher J.P at various venues including the gardeners arts centre. In 2007 Kadie moved to worthing and couldn't continue with all the dancing she loved so much. At the start of 2008 she met a new friend called Faith who did Belly dancing with Nefertiri. Kadie went along to her first class and was hooked straight away.

Kadie performs with dance troupe Nefertiri Arabic Dancers and in 2010 was invited to join Nefertiri Gems the professional dance troupe of Nefertiri.
also in 2010 she entered Worthing Idol as a belly dance soloist and later that year entered Adurs got Talent With Emma and got through to both finals.

As well as Studying Belly dance with Nefertiri and doing as many classes a week as she can, she is always looking to further her knowledge of this fabulous dance by doing as many workshops and private lessons as she can. recently studying Rhythm and instrument traditions with Katie Holland & going to Shimmy in the City and studying with Khaled & Jillina

One of her dreams has been to be able to pass on her passion of Belly dance by teaching. She is currently studying with Jane Safe and effective dance practices and will soon be starting a kids belly dance class for ages 4 and up as well as teaching a choreography workshop at Art in Motion.

As well as dancing Kadie is also a fabulous Singer and performs at many events around Sussex with Music director Nigel Ratcliff of Ratcliff creative. As well as a solo Singer Kadie also sings with Quick fix and Ikon Diva part of the Ratcliff Creative family.
